S&P 500, Dow and NASDAQ end day on positive note as Wall Street begins Thanksgiving week on high with boost from Alphabet: Antelope Enterprise gains nearly 110%, Lixte Biotechnology plunges; check top gainers and losers
The S&P 500 index closed at 6,705.12 points with an increase of 1.55 percent, and the Nasdaq Composite index closed at 22,872.01 points with an increase of 2.69 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 202.86 points, or 0.44%, to 46,448.27.
Alphabet shares had a good day on Wall Street on Monday, CNBC reported; Shares of the American tech giant have seen gains, fueled by investors’ growing optimism about the company’s position in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) race. Last week, Google announced its upgraded AI model, Gemini 3. The announcement sent shares up 6.3 percent as it came nearly eight months after Gemini 2.5 was introduced. The stock rose 6.3%.
Besides Alphabet, other companies in the AI business have also grown; these included Broadcom, which was up 11.1%, while Micron Technology grew nearly 8%. Palantir Technologies and AMD gained 4.8% and 5.5%, respectively. Meta, Nvidia and Amazon also posted gains on the day.
Top gainers and losers on NASDAQ
The most improved stocks as of 4:15 PM ET on November 24, 2025 were led by Antelope Enterprise Holdings Limited (AEHL) with a gain of +109.0909%. It was followed by Pasithea Therapeutics Corp., up 69.3548%. (KTTAW) and Splash Beverage Group, Inc., up 52.9686%. (SBEV) followed. Also top performers were Fusion Fuel Green PLC (HTOOW), up +51.7647%, and MoneyHero Limited (MNYWW), up +51.5152%.
In contrast, the stocks that fell the most were Lixte Biotechnology Holdings, Inc., down -80.0797%. It was under the leadership of (LIXTW). Clearside Biomedical, Inc. (CLSD) followed with a -66.9154% decline, while MSP Recovery, Inc. Warrant (MSPRZ) is down -56.3218%. At the bottom of the list is Clene Inc., down -45.8824%. (CLNNW) and Ardagh Metal Packaging SA (AMBP), down -40%.
