Social media influencer Orry aka Orhan Awatramani, who was summoned for questioning by the Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Branch on Wednesday, reportedly failed to cooperate with the investigation in the Rs 252-crore drug case. Crime Branch stated that the social media influencer did not reveal much during interrogation.

According to the IANS report, Orry has repeatedly stated that he does not know Mohammed Salim Sohail Shaikh, has no contact with him and has never spoken to him. The police also said that Orry claimed to go to many Bollywood parties every day, but no drugs were found at these parties and he did not use drugs or had anything to do with them.

Mohammed Salim Suhail Shaikh, one of the key accused in the Rs 252 crore mephedrone seizure case, had claimed that many celebrities and a relative of Dawood Ibrahim attended the wild parties organized by him in India and abroad. He took the names of Orry, Siddhanth Kapoor and Nora Fatehi, among others.

Siddhanth, son of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor and brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, was also interrogated for 5 hours on Tuesday, but he too is not cooperating with the investigation. Police found a new cell phone in his possession. When Crime Branch officers asked about his mobile phone, he said that his old mobile phone was defective and that he had bought a new one two days ago.

Meanwhile, Orry was questioned for more than 7 hours in Wednesday’s case and authorities were not satisfied with his answers, so he may be recalled.
