Reeves responds to Badenoch’s ‘mansplaining’ Budget attack | News

Rachel Reeves responds to Kemi Badenoch’s “misogyny and slander” attack following the Budget announcement.
During her budget statement in the House of Commons on Wednesday, Ms Badenoch described Ms Reeves as “spineless, shameless and completely pointless”, adding: “Let me explain to the Chancellor, woman to woman: people there are not complaining because she is a woman, they are complaining because she is completely incompetent.”
Asked about the Conservative Party leader’s comments, Ms Reeves said on Sunday (November 30): “If he wants to resort to personal attacks that’s fine, that’s his choice, but I want to focus on lowering the cost of living, shortening NHS waiting lists and reducing debt and borrowing.”
