Moment Christmas Eve chaos explodes in violence at Winter Wonderland

Violence broke out in Winter Wonderland on Christmas Eve, with violent hoodlums tearing down barriers, punching and aggressively tackling each other.
The footage shows a group running after a child and jumping over metal entrance barriers to reach him.
In his frenzy, the boy falls backwards onto a group of people before being punched to the ground.
A group of three men then corner him and continuously hit him as he tries to escape, while the rest of the gang catches up to them.
People, including young girls, are seen cowering in fear and grabbing each other.
Within minutes, police sirens blared, causing some of the bandits to flee.
Police later arrived to capture the group with stun guns and were heard telling people to ‘go home’.
The video was posted on X, where people sarcastically praised the ‘festive spirit’ of Winter Wonderland.

Another added: ‘UFC 2025: Winter Wonderland edition.’
The incident comes just a week after the incident was marred by a fight in which a woman was punched unconscious.
Winter Wonderland has been criticized for being overcrowded and overpriced, and last week was named the most complained about festival venue in Europe.
Proponents of the annual meeting will point out that it injects around £100 million into London’s economy, while also raising vital funds for the city’s Royal Parks.
But for critics, it became a real-life Nightmare Before Christmas, and some demanded that it be stopped.
Last week, footage emerged of a woman being punched to the ground during a mass brawl.
Ryan, who attended the Winter Wonderland with his friends, shot this sad video in London.

He claimed the fight started when one man accused the other of “touching his lady”.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘We were in the beer hall in the Bavarian beer garden and it closed at 10pm and everyone was asked to leave as normal.
‘When we came out they had created a gated walkway lined with construction fencing which created a huge bottleneck.
‘It wasn’t that busy but then all of a sudden there’s about a few thousand people in this area and it’s completely stopped. Security then locked themselves outside the door and that’s when a fight broke out.
‘Everyone was so drunk, it was obvious something was going to happen.’
He continued: ‘It was a really lawless and chaotic situation and there were families with children.
‘I go every year and I’ve never seen anything like it.’
A spokesman for Hyde Park Winter Wonderland said the incident was ‘immediately managed by security on site, with police present’.

Proponents of the annual meeting will point out that it generates an estimated £100 million for London’s economy, while also raising vital funds for the city’s Royal Parks.
‘There was no impact and no serious injuries were reported,’ they said.
Winter Wonderland has encountered problems in the past; A 22-year-old man was injured after an alleged alkaline attack last year.
Scotland Yard launched an investigation and arrested two men, aged 21 and 18, and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Winter Wonderland bosses described the attack as ‘an isolated incident involving a corrosive substance during a fight between a small group’.
A repeat of the event in 2022 appears to be particularly problematic, with one man being ‘stabbed in the neck’ outside the attraction and two men fighting each other outside a chicken stall.
In another incident, a vehicle broke down and left two people trapped.
Three years ago, another violent fight occurred in which one participant strangled the other.
Considering that approximately three million people attend Winter Wonderland each year, organizers point out that the vast majority are not victims of crime.
The latest figures show 127 crime-related crimes were reported to police in 2021/22.
A spokesperson for Hyde Park Winter Wonderland said last week: ‘The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority and offensive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
‘Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a large-scale seasonal event hosting approximately three million visits over a six-week period and we work closely with the Metropolitan Police and relevant authorities to ensure security and crowd management measures are as robust as possible.
‘The vast majority of our guests have a positive experience. As with any incident of this scale, there are occasional instances of antisocial behaviour.’
