The former legal analyst for the network believes everyone who gave or followed the alleged “kill everybody” order must be brought to justice.

One of Pete Hegseth’s former colleagues at Fox News says he “doesn’t enjoy saying it” that the defense secretary should be tried for war crimes. Andrew Napolitano, a senior forensic analyst at the pro-Trump channel Newsmax, rejected the White House’s claim that the U.S. military acted lawfully when Hegseth ordered the killing of everyone aboard a suspected Venezuelan drug boat in the Caribbean in September, including two survivors of the initial airstrike. “I wish the White House would explain to us the laws that the President is relying on. He says the Justice Department has an opinion, but neither the Justice Department nor the White House will submit it to public review,” Napolitano, a retired judge who was dismissed from Fox News in 2021 amid sexual harassment allegations, told Newsmax host Shaun Kraisman.
