Thomas Markle speaks out from hospital bed to rubbish Meghan’s claims | Royal | News

I’m talking to my friend Caroline GrahamMail on Sunday US Editor Thomas said from his hospital bed: “Of course I want to talk to her (Meghan) but I’m not sure if these are the right circumstances.

‘I have always said that I am open to making peace with my daughter. I never stopped loving him. I don’t want to die walking away from Meghan.

“I want to meet my grandchildren. It would be nice to meet her husband, too.”

According to The Mail on Sunday, Thomas also said: “The nurses have told me that people all over the world are praying for me and I want to thank them for the well wishes. People are so kind. I’ve been away all week but I’m finally feeling more like myself and I want to show people that I’m okay.”

He continued: “I am grateful to the wonderful medical team who saved my life.”

Meghan’s father also revealed that he doesn’t know if he can “cope” with one leg and that he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life “in a wheelchair.”

He said: “I’m grateful to be alive. But living without legs is a long shot.”

He continued: “‘I’m an old man now, but my life was saved and I’m grateful for that. I’ve got a long road ahead of me.’
