Chased by Strays, Motorist Dies After Hitting Wall

A driver died after being chased by stray animals in Rayachoti town of Annamayya district on Sunday night. According to police, 42-year-old Fazil, a resident of Lakshmipuram in Rayachoti, was heading home on his two-wheeler at 3 am when strays started chasing him.

Fazıl, who panicked at the sudden attack of the dogs, increased the speed of his vehicle and crashed into the wall of a temple, killing him instantly.

Upon being informed, the police came to the scene and started an investigation. CCTV footage showed how Fazil was chased by dogs at night.

Neighborhood residents accused the authorities of not taking action despite making many complaints about the dog threat.

Fazıl’s family accused the authorities of not taking the necessary precautions to prevent the danger of stray dogs that could lead to deaths.
