Did your family member dance with the devil in 1995 at the Flamingo Club in Stockton?

As a Stockton native, I grew up hearing: The Devil appears at the Flamingo Club In 1995.
famous club, used to be located It was at Charter and Wilson Way, just 3.5 miles from his childhood home.
Whenever my grandmother would take me to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds or we would pass by Rancho San Miguel, I would hear, “Mira, allí se apareció el diablo.”
Translation: “See, this is where the devil appears.”
Many in the city of Stockton believe that the Devil himself appeared at the nightclub in July 1995.
At the time, The Record was compiling people’s accounts of what was happening.
Rumor has it that on or around Father’s Day, a charismatic man clad in gold jewelry entered the club. Everyone’s eyes were on the man as he asked a young woman to dance.
While the woman and the man were dancing, she allegedly looked down and saw that the man’s feet were not touching the ground.
When she screamed, the facility’s lights went out, and when they finally came back to them, the woman was covered in blood and had somehow been “brutally cut.”
Responding officers handcuffed the man, locked him in the back of a patrol car and began questioning witnesses.
When the police returned to check on the detained suspect, the suspect was gone.
Only the handcuffs remained.
What was the meaning of this story in my house? Don’t go to nightclubs or you might dance with the devil.
