The final season of college football has sparked many heated debates and now scandals.
Much of the talk in recent days has focused on the College Football Playoff committee’s selection for this year’s 12-team playoff. However, when news emerged that Michigan had fired football coach Sherrone Moore, discussions about the issue were quickly put aside.
The university said the investigation found there was sufficient evidence that Moore had engaged in “an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.” The announcement was a dramatic end to Moore’s short, checkered tenure, which saw him take a step back on the court after the Wolverines won the national championship only to be penalized by the NCAA.
