BBC outside Rabbi Schlanger’s funeral as mourners pay tribute

Mourners paid tribute to British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger, one of 15 people killed in a mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Sunday.

At his funeral, Schlanger’s death was described as an “unspeakable loss” for the Jewish community in Bondi.

His funeral was the first held for victims of the Hanukkah attack. BBC reporter Katy Watson was outside when the ceremony ended.
