Horror as two young children were kicked to the floor in Tube station attack | UK | News

An investigation is ongoing after two young children were kicked to the ground at a west London tube station. British Transport Police (BTP) released CCTV footage of a man they wanted to speak to and said officers believed the man may have information that could assist investigations into the attack.

The incident took place at around 16:00 on December 11 at White City Metro station. BTP said two children were with a woman when a man entered the station and kicked the children, causing them to fall. The man then “immediately walked away” to the station and boarded an eastbound Central Line train.

None of the children were injured, but they were upset, according to police.

It was stated that the woman was “incredibly shaken”.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the picture is asked to contact BTP.

In a call out police said: “Officers have released a photograph of a man they would like to speak to following an attack on two young children in west London.

“At approximately 4pm on Thursday, December 11, a woman was at the White City Metro station with her two young children when a man entered the station and kicked the children, causing them to fall. He then immediately walked towards the station and boarded an eastbound Central Line train.

“None of the children were injured but he was understandably upset and the woman was incredibly shaken. “Officers believe the man pictured may have information that could assist their investigation.

“Anyone who recognizes him or has information that could help police should text BTP to 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 472 of December 11.”
