Bagel-eating method by Martha Stewart sparks heated debate on social media

Martha Stewart sparked a debate online after sharing her unconventional method of eating a bagel.
Earlier this month, the author and lifestyle icon shared photos on Instagram showing off her preferred way of enjoying New York City staples.
Instead of eating the bagel as a sandwich or in the traditional open-face shape, Stewart cut it into smaller portions and topped each piece with cream cheese individually.

In the caption, Stewart explained that the approach helped her feel satisfied without overeating, calling the method “very satisfying.”
He added that the bagels had to come from Connecticut-based PopUp Bagels, noting that the technique was introduced to him years ago by his daughter Alexis.

One commenter joked, “Queen Martha, this bagel is a violation of ethics.”

Another reaction took a more extreme tone, with one user saying: “Put him back in jail.”
Others argued that the method was overly restrictive or sent the wrong message about food.

But not all of the responses were negative.
Some users said Stewart’s post inspired them to try this method, taking the same approach after seeing her cut the bagel into smaller pieces and add cream cheese to each one.

Stewart later updated the caption to strike a more humorous tone and emphasized that the post was written in a light-hearted manner.
