Boxer Jake Paul talks future plans, ‘baby fever’ after suffering jaw injury

Jake Paul gave an insight into how he plans to spend his recovery time away from the boxing ring.
The YouTuber, who was a former boxer, suffered a broken jaw in his knockout defeat against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua last week. The match was carried live by the Netflix streaming service.
During his recovery, Paul will focus on supporting his fiancée, Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam, as she prepares for next year’s Winter Games. He also admitted that he had developed a serious case of “baby fever.”

“I’m going to take a break to go to support [his fiancée] Jutta [Leerdam] “In the Olympics,” Paul said when asked about his short-term future plans during a session on older brother Logan Paul’s “Honest” podcast earlier this week.

“Then he’ll move to Puerto Rico. Move him here. Maybe go snowboarding or something,” he added. Paul said surgery for his injury required four plates and eight screws to be placed in his jaw.

Paul later revealed that he hopes his family will welcome some new people soon, saying: “I have baby fever. I want to have kids so bad.”
The 28-year-old Dutch speed skater met Paul after he reached out to Leerdam on social media and invited her to appear on his podcast in 2022. The couple announced their engagement in March.

“We’re engaged, we can’t wait to spend forever together,” Paul captioned a March 22 photo series. Instagram post.
