Diogo Jota’s sons to join mascots for Liverpool v Wolves at Anfield

“Thinking about everything that’s happened in the last 12 months triggers a rollercoaster of emotions, but it’s normal to look back at everything that’s happened this time of year,” Slot said.
“Doing this makes me think especially about the first Christmas they will spend without Diogo Jota.
“It’s not my place to tell them where to look for comfort – if that’s even possible – but I can only hope that the feeling of love and affection that Diogo still generates will bring them some solace.”
Jota scored 65 goals in 182 games for Liverpool, helping the team win the FA Cup and League Cup in 2022 and the Premier League championship last season.
The striker joined Wolves on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid in 2017 and scored 44 goals in 131 appearances.
