Prince Harry’s controversial Christmas comment that sparked Markle family feud | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t spent Christmas with the Royal Family since 2018, but they seem to thoroughly enjoy it when they do. While Harry had always been used to such big family events before quitting royal life in 2020, it seemed Meghan wasn’t.
Harry hinted as much during an episode of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme, just days after Meghan’s first festive season with royal relatives, when he described what Christmas at Sandringham was like for Meghan. The prince also said Christmas was “wonderful” and that royal relatives “loved” Meghan as part of the celebrations.

Samantha later went on to talk about the issue in Channel 5’s documentary Meghan and the Markles: A Family at War. He said: “Although we were not the classic family that got together on schedule for every holiday, we were a family.”
