Fury at ISIS fanatics’ ‘easy life’ inside ‘soft’ UK prison | UK | News

A pair of Islamic State extremists are living a “comfortable” life in a UK prison; Here they are given £20 a week to spend on food, a DVD player and training courses. Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, were convicted last week of an armed attack aimed at killing Jews and Christians in Manchester.
They are behind bars at Category B Preston Prison ahead of their sentencing on February 13 next year. They are currently on a standard regime which includes being given money to spend in the canteen, being able to watch movies, making phone calls and going to the gym. They can also enroll in training courses and vocational training.
As reported by SunA source said: “It’s outrageous that they are together in a medium security prison rather than a comfortable high security prison like Preston. “They clearly pose a huge danger but their regime means they can mix freely and make phone calls and order books and DVDs into their cells.
“They are also given £20 a week of taxpayers’ money which they can spend on canteen treats such as chocolate, crisps and fizzy drinks. “They will also have access to a mosque, priests and psychologists.
“When you look at the contrast between how dangerous their conspiracy was and how comfortable conditions they were kept in, it makes you sick. It shows the state of the prison system.”
The pair, who were born in Tunisia but live in Bolton, were sentenced on Tuesday, December 23. The court heard how weapons, including AK47s, were ordered in preparation for a terror attack in Manchester.
However, their plans were thwarted by undercover police officers. Saadaoui and Hussein told a police officer that they were targeting Jews, but that there would be a “bonus” if they killed any Christians.
