A Russian gunman was killed by special forces when he opened fire on a supermarket in Kiev, Ukraine, on Saturday, killing six people and wounding 14 people, including a 12-year-old boy.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, the 58-year-old hitman lived in the Donetsk region for a long time and was born in Moscow.
Zelenskyy said he took at least four people hostage, killing one and fatally shooting the other four in the street. Another woman died in the hospital where she was taken due to her injuries.
In the sensational video recorded by eyewitnesses, the gunman is seen shooting at a victim from close range on the street. Other bodies were also seen lying on the pavement and in yards.
