K-Pop Popular BTS Confirms March 2026 Comeback Nearly After Four-Year Hiatus

Seoul:In a major reward for ARMYS, popular K-pop boy band BTS is set to make a full-fledged comeback to the music scene, marking a first in almost four years. The group’s agency, BigHit Music, announced their comeback date with an official announcement. “Return Confirmed March 20th,” the post read.

The comeback in March 2026 will mark the end of BTS’ four-year hiatus since joining their mandatory military service in the country. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of beloved K-pop stars RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. According to Billboard, the group will release a new album on March 20, 2026, for the first time since 2022’s ‘Proof’, after which the group paused its activities. In addition to their military service, the members also took part in numerous solo projects. After their military service ended, the artists had been giving hints of new music for a while. In the Weverse update, BTS leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, said, “The music is coming out really well!! Everyone is trying hard. Please look forward to it.” He even made a comeback joke by saying. Jungkook further fueled the situation by saying, “I think this spring will be more important than ever. So I sincerely hope you all have a safe and enjoyable spring,” as quoted by Billboard. Jung Kook, Suga, RM, V, and Jimin were discharged from the South Korean military in June 2025, months after J-Hope and Jin were discharged.

At the time, the artists said in the group statement, “We will release a new BTS album in the spring of next year… Along with the new album, we are also planning a world tour. We will visit fans all over the world, we hope you are as excited as we are.” Known for their top spot in K-pop, BTS even appeared on the Billboard charts. Some of his most popular tracks include ‘Butter’, ‘Dynamite’, ‘Stay’, ‘Fake Love’, ‘Life Goes On’ and ‘Black Swan’.
