Nine Students Injured as School Bus Hit by Lorry Near Palamaner

Chittoor: Nine students were injured when a truck rear-ended a school bus at Ponnamakulapalli in Gangavaram mandal. The incident took place on Wednesday night on the Bengaluru-Chennai National Highway-4.

The bus belonged to Kinder Care Divyangula Trust school and was carrying students who were returning after completing their medical check-ups in Bengaluru. 11 students were traveling on the bus at the time of the accident.

Police said that 9 students were injured in the collision and 4 of them were in critical condition. All injured students were taken to Palamaner State Hospital and received treatment.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
