‘If We Don’t Do It, Russia Or China Will Take Over Greenland’: Trump’s Stark Warning As Denmark Orders ‘Shoot First’ And Doomsday Plane Circles Washington | Video | World News

US President Donald Trump issued a harsh ultimatum regarding Greenland: America will either choose the easy way or the hard way. “If we don’t do this, Russia or China will take over Greenland and we won’t have neighbors with Russia or China,” Trump said.

Trump also rejected Denmark’s historical claim to Greenland, saying, “Just because they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn’t mean they own that land.”

Trump brushed aside concerns that U.S. military intervention would trigger NATO’s Article 5, which treats an attack on one member as an attack on all members. “NATO needs to understand this. I am completely in favor of NATO. I saved NATO. If it were not for me, you would not have NATO now,” he said.

The day before, Trump had sent shock waves around the world by saying that he was constrained by his own morality, not international law.

“Yes, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. That’s the only thing that can stop me. I don’t need international law,” he said in an interview with the New York Times, adding: “I don’t want to hurt people.”

When asked directly whether his administration should comply with international law, Trump replied, “I do,” but later stated that he would decide when to apply such rules. “It depends on what your definition of international law is,” he said.

Stern Warning from Denmark to Trump’s Greenland Plan

Denmark responded to Trump’s threat to seize Greenland one way or another with unprecedented force. The Danish Ministry of Defense announced that in the event of a US invasion, its soldiers should shoot first and ask questions later. The Ministry later clarified that existing orders regarding military preparedness in times of attacks or war remained in force, but the message was clear: Denmark will defend Greenland.

Earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen warned that an invasion of Greenland would mean “the end of NATO” and collapse the post-war global order.

Warning to Europe from JD Vance

Meanwhile, US Vice President J.D. Vance urged European leaders to “take the US president seriously” and warned that the US could take action if allies fail to meet the growing interest of “hostile adversaries”.

As tensions escalate, the US Air Force’s E-4B Night Watch – the “Doomsday Plane” – has been spotted around Washington DC. Immune to nuclear explosions, this air military command center was last seen in the capital in June 2025. Although no emergency has been declared, the presence of this center signals that the United States is preparing for all possible scenarios, including major conflicts.

Greenland remains strategically vital, hosting the Pituffik Cosmodrome, which is key to missile warning and space surveillance across the North Atlantic.
