Nickelodeon composer Guy Moon passed away Thursday at the age of 63, as his family grieves the star’s loss.
The Emmy nominee tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles on the morning of January 8, succumbing to traumatic injuries. Los Angeles County Coroner’s report.

They added that Moon ‘left an unmistakable legacy and will be deeply missed by us, his family, and the countless people whose lives he affected’.
The late star’s loved ones concluded the emotional statement by announcing that they plan to hold a celebration of life for Moon in Los Angeles on February 7, on what would have been Moon’s 64th birthday.
Another ceremony will be held in his home state of Wisconsin.
Moon was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, in 1962 and attended the University of Arizona in 1980.
Six years later, the composer moved to California, where he began to pursue his passion for music professionally, writing music for various animated shows.
His first success as a composer was for the sitcom Square Pegs in 1983, and he later composed the score for the 1987 sci-fi horror film Creepozoids.
In the ’90s, Moon’s career continued to take off with his involvement in other projects such as The Addams Family (1992), The Brady Bunch Movie (1995), The Real Adventures Of Jonny Quest (1996-1997), and Cow And Chicken (1997-1999).

Hartman took to Instagram stories on Saturday to pay tribute to Moon after hearing the news of his death.
Alongside a republished photo of the late composer, the animator wrote: ‘I have no words yet because there just aren’t enough words enough. I will make an announcement soon. The man was my friend. My brother. My family.’
