Winter woes? Fatigue and body aches lead common complaints

Body aches (28%), fatigue (26%), feeling “off” (23%) and runny nose (21%) are the four horsemen of a subpar day, according to new research. A survey of 2,000 adults conducted by Talker Research for Bayer examined what this winter season holds for Americans’ health and found that other symptoms of a “bad” day include fatigue (21%), fatigue (20%) and nausea (17%). Just the thought of facing these days makes half of respondents “fear” the thought of getting sick this season (51%). Six in 10 people get sick every winter, and the average person feels unwell for five days during the season; even if he wasn’t completely sick. One in five people say this is even more common for them, with a total of at least a week worth of “not good” days.
