Prince William is ‘banned’ from using e-scooter at new home | Royal | News

Prince William has reportedly been banned from using e-scooters since moving into the couple’s new home, Forest Lodge, last year.
All “motorised means of transport” such as e-scooters, hoverboards and unicycles are banned on the Crown estate. These vehicles are not allowed “for safety reasons and traffic management reasons.”
An insider said: “William loved his e-scooter to get around the castle as there were no bans.
“But of course he is more than happy and prepared to comply with the e-scooter rules at Windsor Great Park.”
The Sun previously shared William’s love of e-scooters in a July 2023 article filming a tourist enjoying their ride.
He also rode his e-scooter to the actor’s meeting with Eugene Levy at the castle for an episode of The Reluctant Traveler documentary series on Apple TV+.
Speaking to Eugene, he said: “Dad spends a lot of time here, but we don’t actually live in the castle. We come and use the castle for work, for meetings and to see people. I’m always late, so I thought this was the way to keep my meetings on time.”
Then he added: “I’m regularly late anyway, Eugene. I managed to give myself a puncture this morning, which is pretty fun. That’s why I was going so slow on the road.”
Prince William’s representatives have been reached for comment.
