Prince Harry stepped away from royal life in 2020, leaving everything he knew behind. While the decision undoubtedly caused a lot of uncertainty for the Duke of Sussex, it quickly opened the doors to a new normal for him.
While there were rumors that Harry was unhappy with his California lifestyle and missed UK life, a source has now disputed this and claimed the Duke is more than happy with his new lifestyle.
“Even though he’s grown up [as a royal]He was never comfortable in that environment. “He feels more like himself here.”
Speaking of the constraints of royal life on Harry, the source said: “He had a crazy schedule (in the UK) and would come back through the palace gates and couldn’t go out or have a personal life.”
Speaking at an event in 2024, Harry said: “I absolutely love living here and bringing my children here. It’s a part of my life I never thought I’d have.
“I feel like this is the life my mother wanted for me. It’s a huge thing to be able to do things with my children that I would certainly not be able to do in the UK.”
“This is a great opportunity and I am so grateful for it.”
Harry and Meghan have shown no desire to return to the UK full-time. Instead, Harry has been making occasional visits to his home country across the pond and will continue to do so.
