Trump enjoys family night out with Ivanka and Kai at college football playoff final as he gets raucous reception from fans in Miami

Donald Trump was greeted with loud cheers from the Miami crowd after arriving in Miami with family members to watch tonight’s college football playoff final.
Sports played a major role in Trump’s second term as president; The commander-in-chief has attended numerous events since his re-election in 2024.
And on Monday night, he shows his face once again after participating in the highly anticipated national championship game in Miami with the No. 10 Hurricanes, who will enjoy home-field advantage against the No. 10 Hoosiers.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner and their two sons Joseph Frederick and Theo James will also accompany Trump at the finale.
Grandson Kai, Donald Trump Jr’s eldest child, also attended the ceremony with his mother Vanessa, as well as Lara Trump, the wife of the president’s second son Eric, their son Luke and their younger daughter Carolina.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio also joined the group on the night and was even seen walking the field before kickoff. UFC president and Trump ally Dana White also visited the suite.

He is present at the game where Fernando Mendoza tries to inspire Indiana to a national championship.
Secretary Doug Burgum, personal senior adviser Boris Epshteyn, communications director Steven Cheung and longtime aide to the president Dan Scavino were other members of his administration in attendance.
After arriving at the stadium, Trump was seen waving to fans from behind bulletproof glass in the VIP suite as he prepared to watch the game.
The president, who was featured on the big screen during the American national anthem, received great applause from the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Indiana is the heavy favorite to win and has Heisman trophy winner Fernando Mendoza at quarterback; This guy is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft held by the Las Vegas Raiders in late April.
But Trump may be rooting for the Hurricanes because his teenage grandson Kai has a golf scholarship to Miami.
The 79-year-old has previously attended college football’s showpiece game. In 2018, he watched the first half between Alabama and Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Trump also became the first president in history to attend a Super Bowl in 2025 when he traveled to New Orleans to watch the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, who are on the verge of a three-peat.
In addition to football, he has made high-profile performances at the Ryder Cup, NASCAR’s Daytona 500, the 9/11 anniversary game against the New York Yankees, and UFC 316 since his return to the Oval Office.
This is a trend that will continue well beyond the college final in 2026. The United States will host the World Cup starting in June, when Gianni Infantino, head of football’s governing body FIFA, has gone to great lengths to build a friendship with Trump.

Trump also planned a UFC event at the White House on June 14, coinciding with his 80th birthday, as part of his close friendship with White, the MMA promotion’s CEO.
Additionally, the next Super Bowl will be held on February 8 in Santa Clara, just outside San Francisco. There’s no word yet on whether Trump will attend, but given his previous form, it’s possible.
As for Monday’s game, the Hoosiers’ victory would complete one of the greatest transformations in college football history.
When Curt Cignetti was appointed the team’s head coach in November 2023, they had an abysmal 9-26 record with three straight losing seasons since 2020.
Now the Mendoza-led team is on the verge of victory and is 15-0 heading into Monday night play.
