Brisbane uni student Fletcher Beasley dies in London
The family of an “extremely generous, selfless and community-minded” young Brisbane man has hired a private investigator to examine his death in London.
Fletcher Beasley was 21 years old when he died on June 25.
Beasley’s family said that the London Forensic Medicine Institute had also launched an investigation.
The young man attended Brisbane Boys’ College and worked at a law firm while completing the fourth year of his business and law degree.

“Funny, loyal, curious about the world and always full of warmth, he lived a balanced life playing sports, running, traveling and having fun.
“It’s incredibly unfair that he was kidnapped after only 21 years, but he lived a beautiful but very short life.
“His loss leaves an immeasurable absence, but his warmth, kindness and love will continue to shape the lives of all who were lucky enough to know him.”
They added: “Fletcher was an extremely generous, selfless and community-minded person.”
A memo stated that the fund would support the Beasley family and close friends to rebuild their lives and bring him home.
“If you can contribute to this fund, we will continue Fletcher’s legacy of kindness, kindness and generosity while helping us get through the most difficult of times,” he said.
By Thursday morning, it had raised almost $25,000.
