The Australian Prime Minister accidentally leaked details of the royal tour in a live interview this week. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese sat down with Australian radio presenter Kyle Sandilands for an interview on Kiis FM, during which a number of topics were discussed.

One of the topics discussed was: Donald Trump Wanting Greenland led to Albanians talking about Australian Queen Mary of Denmark. When talking about whether Greenland should be given to the US President, the Australian Prime Minister said that this was “a matter for the people of Greenland and the people of Denmark.”

He explained: “Queen Mary is coming here.” Asked when, he said: “It’s going to happen, it’s going to be here – I’m not sure we’ve announced the dates publicly but it’s pretty exciting. Queen Mary and King Frederik.”

The radio host replied: “Yes, how classy. I love these two.”

The Prime Minister’s statement that the dates were not made public shows that he may not have announced them.

Queen Mary, who moved from Australia to Denmark in 2001, talked about her childhood in Australia in a program broadcast on television as part of a nature documentary last year.

He said: “I spent a lot of time in the bush, in the forest. Where I lived, there was the forest on one side and the beach on the other. How lucky can you be? I had it all.”

He added: “Tasmanian rainforests are dramatic or diverse, with bush, cliffs and mountains.”
