Search efforts continue intensively after the release of the gunman who allegedly killed three people, including his pregnant ex-partner. The shooting took place on Thursday, January 22, in a small town in the Australian state of New South Wales. Julian Ingram has been wanted ever since.

They were attacked on Buhara Street around 16.30. Ingram then went to Walker Street in the same town, killing another woman and wounding a man.
Reports say the woman was Sophie’s aunt, Nerida Quinn, 50, and Kaled Macqueen, 19, was also shot in the driveway. He was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Ingram was released on bail on November 30 following charges of stalking or intimidating with intent to cause fear or bodily harm and common assault when he allegedly attacked Quinn after the pair separated.
According to the Herald, the 37-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the charges and was due to appear in court on February 3. Police said Ingram adhered to bail conditions, which required him to report to local police every day.
He was also banned from contacting or being within 100 meters of Quinn or her home and workplace. A NSW Police spokesman confirmed he definitely had a domestic relationship with one of the victims.
The spokesman also confirmed that Ingram never had a gun permit. The police called for help on the possibility that the man was a fugitive and might be in the vicinity.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, approximately 165cm-170cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a Ford Ranger with NSW registration DM-07-GZ, which had a council sign, a metal tray back, high visibility markings on the side and an emergency light bar on the roof.
There is a large police presence in the small Australian town following the incident, with 100 officers searching for the ‘killer’. NSW Police Deputy Commissioner Andy Holland has urged Lake Cargelligo residents to stay indoors and out of windows and report any suspicious behavior to police, including in their gardens or suspicious vehicles.
“This is a tragedy in a very small country town and it will have a huge impact on the community,” Holland said.
