Modi Calls Congress Muslim League Maoist Congress

Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday criticized the Congress party, saying the party lacked a developmental agenda and took more extreme positions than the Maoists and more communal positions than the Muslim League, leading to it being referred to as the “Muslim League Maoist Congress” in the country.

Speaking at a meeting in Thiruvananthapuram, Prime Minister Modi said: “The Congress party does not have a developmental agenda. Today, it has adopted positions that are more communist than those of the Maoists and more communal than those of the Muslim League. As a result, the Congress is increasingly referred to as MMC (Muslim League Maoist Congress) across the country. It is important to be vigilant against the Congress as they use Kerala as a testing ground for their strategies. In Kerala, the Congress is actively promoting radical elements.” The Chief Minister said the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections will determine the future of the state, accusing the LDF and UDF of corruption and mismanagement and presenting the BJP-NDA as the third alternative for development and good governance.

“The upcoming elections will be elections that will change the situation and direction of Kerala. When it comes to the future of Kerala, you have seen only two parties so far. LDF on one side, UDF on the other side. Both have destroyed Kerala one after another. But there is a third party, which is the side of development, good governance, the side of the BJP-NDA. LDF and UDF people have pushed Kerala into corruption, mismanagement and dangerous politics. It is for appeasement purposes,” he said.

He said decades of corruption and mismanagement by LDF and UDF have hindered Thiruvananthapuram and promised that under the BJP’s vision of ‘Viksit Thiruvananthapuram’ the city will be transformed into a model city for the country.” LDF and UDF have done great injustice to Thiruvananthapuram for decades. Corruption of the Left and Congress has set Thiruvananthapuram back even in terms of basic facilities. But now that will not happen. The BJP team here is ‘Viksit Thiruvananthapuram’ “I want to tell the people of Thiruvananthapuram to have faith. What has not changed so far will change now, I offer my full support to make Thiruvananthapuram one of the best cities in India.”
