Victoria Beckham ‘feels betrayed’ by Brooklyn’s bombshell statement and dancing revelations – after spending years protecting him from ‘dark stories’

Victoria Beckham is said to feel ‘betrayed’ after the years she spent protecting Brooklyn from ‘dark stories’ were ‘back in her face’.
Beckham’s eldest sibling, 26, called his parents “controlling and manipulative” and said he felt “extreme anxiety” in an explosive statement this week in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his family.
Brooklyn went so far as to say that ‘Brand Beckham comes first’ and that ‘public promotion of family values is above all else’.
Over the years, Victoria, 51, has worked hard to protect Brooklyn from stories that have “not always shown her in the best light” in the past.
A source said the fashion designer usually avoids family disputes but thinks his son and wife Nicola Peltz, 30, were being ‘irrational’.
They said: ‘Victoria feels betrayed because she did everything she could to make them both feel welcome and to love Nicola like any other daughter.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Beckham’s representative for comment.
The Daily Mail’s Katie Hind previously revealed how Beckham’s camp went into overdrive in Brooklyn’s defense when tales of the kiss-and-tell and tales of him ‘getting involved with the wrong crowd’ surfaced.
His family had frequently instructed expensive lawyers to protect him against such stories.
According to another source, David and Victoria ‘will have Brooklyn back in a minute’ and are said to be ‘horrified’ by this week’s events.
The eldest son of the Beckham clan went nuclear in his long-running feud by posting a scathing six-page statement on Instagram on Monday, accusing his family of deliberately trying to destroy his relationship with wife Nicola.
Now, a new source close to the famous couple has said that they will welcome their son back “whenever he wants to reunite with them” because they are “scared” of losing him forever.
An insider said: ‘They are afraid of losing their son and will have him back in a minute. They are also a close family. ‘In a different way than Nicola’s family.’

Meanwhile, a second source added to the publication: ‘David and Victoria believe time will heal this situation.
‘They know Brooklyn will come back in time. Until then they can’t really do anything.’
In his scathing post, Brooklyn accused Victoria of ‘dancing inappropriately’ on him during his wedding to Nicola in 2022.
Wedding DJ Fat Tony finally spilled all the details of the dance during their appearance on This Morning.
The 60-year-old described the incident as ‘really weird’ and confirmed Nicola ran away from the reception in tears.
Tony, a long-time friend of the Beckhams, He said Marc Anthony was to blame after revealing that the musician invited Victoria to the dance floor with her son and instructed her to ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips’.
She said: ‘There was no slut dropping, no PVC catsuits, no Spice Girl action!
‘I said that’s the word ‘inappropriate’, it was timing, that’s what happened.’
Tony continued: ‘What actually happened was Marc Anthony was performing on stage, then he called Brooklyn up on stage.
‘Brooklyn came on stage and the next minute everyone was waiting for Nicola to go up and dance the first dance, then Marc asked the most beautiful woman in the room to come on stage and then said “Victoria, come on stage.”‘
He revealed that Brooklyn looked ‘devastated’ by the fact that his first dance was with Victoria and not his wife, adding that Nicola left the room ‘bleary-eyed’.
Wedding DJ Fat Tony has finally spilled the beans on the dance on This Morning after Brooklyn accused Victoria of ‘dancing inappropriately’.
Tony continued: “Brooklyn’s stuck on stage and they’re doing this dance and Marc Anthony says ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips’ and it’s a Latin thing and the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room…
‘I’ve been to many Beckham parties in the past and they are a dancing, close-knit family and they love to dance, don’t they? So what we consider “inappropriate” is not the same as what Brooklyn feels.
‘It’s all about how Brooklyn feels. If he thought it was inappropriate and weird, it was inappropriate and weird.
‘The sad thing is that everyone took that part of the statement and it was sort of a cover-up for everything that was going on.’
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, the DJ said that at one point, Brooklyn’s hands were on her mother’s waist, while her arms were wrapped around her neck.
‘The timing wasn’t right for me. “This was supposed to be a bride and groom moment,” he told us.
‘I’m not speaking ill of either side, I’m just telling the narrative about the dance directly.’
