Vicky, 73, married Joseph at 17 and began a family partnership that would see Safra Group become a financial giant. It started in Syria, but it actually started to gain momentum in Brazil.
Banco Safra began operations in 1972 and became one of the largest financial institutions in Brazil. Meanwhile, Vicky and Joseph continued to share four children and 14 grandchildren together.
