Delhi-NCR weather update: When will it rain in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram? IMD forecast signals weather twist in coming days

IMD says it will rain in Delhi on February 1

The Met Office has predicted that skies will be generally cloudy for the next seven days, except for January 29 and 31. “Shallow to moderate fog will be seen in the morning hours from 28 January to 02 February 2026,” he added. Heavy fog expected in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana
Dense fog is expected to prevail in remote corners of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during morning and night hours between January 28 and 30. While similar conditions are expected to be experienced in Uttarakhand on January 29 and 30, heavy fog may be experienced in Uttar Pradesh, northern Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar on January 28 and 29.
Cold wave conditions are expected to occur over isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh between January 29-31 and over Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh between January 28-31. Meanwhile, cold day conditions are expected in isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh on January 27.
