EAGLE Arrests 12 Fugitives in Coordinated Operation

Hyderabad:Telangana Anti-Drug Elite Action Group (EAGLE) said they arrested 12 persons during a coordinated operation against alleged absconding drug suppliers in multiple narcotics cases registered at various police station limits in Telangana.

Of the 12 meetings, three were held in Hyderabad, two each in Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Khammam and one each in Wanaparthy, Siddipet and Karimnagar.

According to officials, the accused were evading arrest ever since their cases were registered. The accused were subjected to necessary procedures, including medical screening and counselling, in the presence of their families, before being handed over to the relevant police stations for further investigation.
