Chinese propaganda pushed by stolen Australian X accounts

A social media account with the username @AntiKing1312, which describes itself as an “Anarcho communist and gossip everywhere”, mostly posts about Australian politics, life in Ballarat and LGBTQIA+ rights.
In mid-November last year, he found a new topic of interest: accusations of corruption in the Philippine government’s flood recovery program. Within days, he reshared several Filipino-language posts by fugitive former congressman Zaldy Co, who sought to incriminate the country’s president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., a common target of Chinese government propaganda.
