The message comes amid outrage over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Minnesota. In January, Renee Good and Alex Pretti were murdered.

ICE agents were also expected to serve as security for US officials. This sparked outrage from Italian authorities and sparked protests across the country.
