ED arrests one more person in KIADB double compensation scam in Karnataka

Bengaluru Zonal Office Directorate (ED) arrested another person in connection with the ‘double compensation’ in the Dharwad Karnataka Industrial Zone Development Board. A court returned the defendants to the custody of ED for more inquiry.

Previously, ED had arrested two people in 2024 in connection with the case, including the Mastermind vd Sajjan, a retired private land acquisition officer Dharwad. Mr. Sajjan is accused of receiving ‘double compensation’ for the terrain obtained in the agreement with KIADB and Bank officials.
