Full list of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches set to close

Lloyds Banking Group has announced the closure of a further 95 bank branches across its high street network; This marks the last significant reduction in its presence in the UK.

These closures, affecting the Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland brands, are planned to take place between May 2026 and March 2027.

According to the plans, 53 Lloyds branches, 31 Halifax outlets and 11 Bank of Scotland branches will cease operations.

Although the exact number of staff affected has not been specified, Lloyds has confirmed that all employees currently working in affected branches will be offered alternative roles within the business or elsewhere.

The move represents the latest in a series of branch reductions by the banking giant.

This follows the closure of 49 facilities by October and the closure of a further 136 facilities announced nearly a year ago.
