Chevy Silverado Driver Turns the Tables, PITs Florida Trooper During 98 MPH Chase

Moments later, the driver swerved sharply into the rear quarter panel of a pursuing Charger and executed a maneuver similar to what PIT tactical officers are trained to use.
The patrol car sped out.
But Silverado paid a price.
The impact severely damaged the front end of the truck, and the front wheel on the passenger side appeared to have been ripped off during the chaos. Despite the damage, the driver continued to escape; Sparks were seen under the truck as it dragged across the metal pavement.

After the suspect was taken into custody, authorities reportedly found empty liquor bottles and used marijuana products inside the truck. Although toxicology results were not immediately available, the disorder is suspected to play a role.
