With flavors rivaling CBD’s Canton powerhouses, chef Stevenson Su’s Ocean Treasure also has a second outpost in Cabra Bowls. Yum cha is excellent here (and members get a 25 percent discount on weekdays), with fresh har gow (shrimp dumplings), steamed pork ribs, and cheung fun (rice noodle rolls) leaving the kitchen and heading straight to the carts.
The Cantonese barbecue is also top shelf (the roast duck is a must order) while dinner is all about live seafood at some of the most competitive prices in Sydney. Meanwhile, the steamed “pyramid-shaped” pork belly is a signature item, with meltingly tender pork wrapped around preserved mustard greens.
