Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘friction’ questioned amid royal spli | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly on different paths regarding the brand. US commentator Kinsey Schofield touched on allegations of “friction” behind the scenes with royal biographer and author Tom Bower.

Speaking on her self-titled Unfiltered podcast, Kinsey shared: “A lot of tabloids in America are talking about how Harry and Meghan have diverged in their interests and professional paths.

Meghan is focused on Hollywood and Harry is devoting his energy to the Invictus Games. “Some say it creates friction behind the scenes.”

Referencing the Duchess of Sussex’s interview on the Jamie Kern Lima Show, she described Harry as a “fox” and admitted they were still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship.

Kinsey asked: “Do you think their differences in preoccupations might cause friction in the house, or is Harry hopelessly in love?”

Tom replied: “All marriages have friction.”

He suggested the couple were very committed to their marriage but were unsure how Harry would return to the Royal Family.

“I don’t think he had any idea how to escape his problems other than to have status and purpose by returning to Britain and assuming royal duties,” the royal biographer explained.

He continued: “I think he likes the idea because it gives him status and exposure. He can then sell more clothes, bags or other items in exchange for appearing in Britain with the King or whoever he can stand next to.”

But I don’t think that will happen. I don’t think they have a chance for Harry to pull this off. However, the crisis is getting worse because there is no other alternative.”

Elsewhere, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a busy Valentine’s Day weekend together.

They enjoyed dinner at one of their favorite spots, Funke, on Feb. 13 and ended with a surprise joint appearance at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.

Other celebrities including Barack and Michelle Obama and their daughters Sasha and Queen Latifah also attended the NBA All-Star Game.
