Man dies after vehicles drive on wrong side of highway at Burpengary

A man has died in a crash north of Brisbane after several vehicles were seen driving at high speeds on the wrong side of the highway overnight.
The vehicles were traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
One of the vehicles, an Isuzu truck, crashed into a white Honda Accord traveling the wrong way in Burpengary.
The 26-year-old man from Redcliffe who was driving the Accord was seriously injured and died at the scene.
The driver of the Isuzu was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was declared a crime scene and parts of the highway were closed until 5 a.m.
