M.M. Keeravani in Talks to Score Music for ‘Jai Hanuman’?

Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, known for his thrilling mass numbers and thrilling melodies, may soon add another high-profile mythological project to his repertoire, according to industry sources. Keeravani reached the pinnacle of global recognition when RRR’s Naatu Naatu won the prestigious Academy Award, putting Indian film music firmly on the global map.

The ace composer is currently busy composing music for Megastar Chiranjevi’s much-awaited mythological entertainer Vishwambhara. Keeravani is also composing music for SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s ambitious project, tentatively titled Varanasi, which has been making waves even before its launch. His song ‘Sanchari Sanchari’ created a huge stir and trended worldwide.

Now new rumors suggest that Keeravani is in talks to compose music for Jai Hanuman, the sequel to the blockbuster HanuMan. The film stars Rishab Shetty as the powerful Lord Hanuman and is directed by Prashanth Varma. The makers are reportedly planning a grand launch at the iconic and historical Hampi location, enhancing the mythological and cultural significance of the film.

“Prashanth Varma has worked with multiple composers (Gowra Hari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh) for HanuMan,” says a source. “To take the sequel further, he is keen on collaborating with a highly accomplished composer like Keeravani, who thrives on devotional, dramatic and emotionally rich compositions.”

The source adds that Keeravani has become one of the most sought-after composers of socio-fantasy and mythological films in recent times. “His ability to blend grandeur and spiritual depth makes him an ideal choice for Jai Hanuman, provided the talks take place,” the source concludes.
