GUWAHATI A team of researchers from multiple institutions has described a new species of burrowing reed snake in the West Garo Hills region of Meghalaya.
Description of the named type squid garoensis (Garo Hills reed snake), published on: taprobanicaAn international refereed journal.
The research is a collaborative effort with the participation of Assam-based Help Earth, Cotton University, Assam Don Bosco University, Mizoram University, Zoological Survey of India and Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency.
