Before we get into it, Broncos captain Adam Reynolds lifted the lid this week on his approach to playing under Willie Peters at Hull KR last year as he plans for his future. Reynolds got his two-year, $1.5 million deal back from the Tigers, but he also briefly evaluated his opponents this morning.
Reynolds, who will retire at the end of 2026, said: “I have a great relationship with Willie, if I were to come to Super League it would probably be under his management.”

“I always talk to Will and check in to see how things are going…
“I thought about it for a while [of joining Hull KR] I’m there, but I have four kids and a wife at home, and they’re at a stage now where it’s quite difficult to uproot them again.
“We already had a big move from Sydney to Brisbane, if I were to come I would unfortunately be on my own and it is very difficult for me as I am with my family.
“It could have been a funny story representing Hull KR against the Broncos but it won’t happen.”
