Burekup crash leaves one dead, another fighting for life after crash on South Western Highway

One person died and another struggled for life in the accident that occurred in Burekup, 165 kilometers south of Perth.
Police said a Mazda BT-50 double cab collided with an LDV van on the South Western Highway on Henty Road at around 4.05pm on Friday.
The 30-year-old male driver of the LDV minibus died at the scene from his injuries.
The 33-year-old male driver of the Mazda BT-50 suffered critical injuries and was transported to Bunbury Regional Hospital before being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital on Saturday, where he remained in a stable condition.
