How much snow will New York City get? Latest inch count predictions

New York City appears to be facing its second major snowstorm this winter.

The National Weather Service’s latest forecast calls for a nor’easter this weekend, showing the Metro New York area getting anywhere from 9 inches of snow in New York City to a foot of snow on the tip of Long Island.

“Widespread snowfall is expected, and significant and large accumulations appear more likely, especially near the coast. Blizzard conditions are possible in Central and Eastern LI,” the NWS said.

The entire region is under a winter storm watch from Sunday, February 22nd through Monday, February 23rd.
