India Cuba IT council launched in Bengaluru

The India-Cuba IT Council was officially launched in Bengaluru on Friday, February 20, 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the India Economic Trade Organization (IETO), a part of the Unified Diplomatic Council (UDC), and XETID, Cuba’s foreign trade and investment promotion agency.

The agreement creates a structured framework for cooperation between the two countries on information technology, digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, technology education and cross-border IT business promotion.
