Vijay Slams Stalin, Says CM’s Real Friends Are ‘Bribe, Corruption’

Vellore: TVK chief Vijay on Monday hit out at DMK President and Chief Minister MK Stalin in a stern language, saying that his real friends are after bribery, corruption and political gains. He accused the Prime Minister of making false promises to the people and tried to refute the claim that the ruling party had turned the state into a superstar state.
Addressing the officers’ meeting here, Vijay described the state elections to be held in April this year as a “surprising election” as all parties in the state are allegedly united against him.
Dismissing DMK’s claim that it has turned Tamil Nadu into a superstar state, the fledgling party’s president said the state was a ‘perfect state’ during the eras of iconic leaders K Kamaraj, CN Annadurai and MG Ramachandran.
Describing the DMK regime as an “Ulta model government that is of no use”, he alleged that the state has turned into a state ruled by super stand-up comedians.
The TVK chief claimed that Tamil Nadu means Vijay and he represents the entire Tamil Nadu.
