CID Probes Blank Cheques’ Scam of HCA Chief

Haydarabad: Haydarabad Cricket Association (HCA) in the case of irregularity in a new development, Crime Investigation Department (CID) police on Saturday Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium HCA President A. Jagan Mohan Rao’nun unauthorized fund transfer questioned several HCA officials and staff.
The CID officials visited the UPPAL Stadium, examined the financial records and questioned the officials and council members in the HCA office for the Emergency Meeting. The Agency has also reviewed the relevant files and documents related to financial agreements under the leadership of RAO.
CID officials claimed that Jaganmohan Rao instructed the personnel in a bank to throw empty checks without any authorization letter from HCA’s account. The bank reported that the transactions work according to verbal instructions.
Sources, CID, previously signed checks or written instructions without receiving RAO’s instructions according to the instructions of the Bank personnel who confirmed that they did not pay, he said. The CID is now preparing to submit a petition looking for custody of five defendants, including Jaganmohan Rao.
On this occasion, several HCA employees brought violations of Jaganmohan Rao to the CID officials’ notification. One of the cases includes an administrative officer who was dismissed by Jaganmohan Rao, but received a high court order to immediately restore it. Even after the court’s order, Rao Emre could not follow. CID officials are expected to receive and analyze the call data of the accused as part of the ongoing investigation.
