CA Girdhari Lal Toshniwal elected as Chairman of ICAI
Hyderabad: Girdhari Lal Toshniwal has been elected as the president of the Hyderabad branch of the South India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for 2026-27. The new management committee officially took over on Monday.
The newly elected office bearers, besides Toshniwal, include vice president Uppalapati Saran Kumar; Kumar Pal Tated, secretary; Shailesh Khandelwal, treasurer; Mukkara Sai Charan Reddy as president and Gonugunta Murali as co-chairman of Chartered Accountants Students Association of South India.
Speaking after taking office, chairman Toshniwal said that the branch will organize a wide range of programs next year focusing on specialized topics such as compliance, documentation, valuation and listing processes, emerging technologies, professional development and the IPO journey.
He added that the team will work together devotedly to serve members and students and promote knowledge enrichment.
Central Council member Dayaniwas Sharma congratulated the team and appreciated the branch for acquiring land in a short time. Muppala Sridhar and SIRC vice president Mandava Sunil Kumar emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort.
